Warning Description: Heat Advisory
Warning Date: 3:45 am CDT on August 12, 2007
WarningSum:...Heat Advisory Remains In Effect Until 7 Pm Cdt This Evening...
Warning Message:Afternoon heat index values are expected to climb to near or just
over 105 this afternoon. Minimize your outdoor activities during
the late morning through early evening hours... and drink plenty
of water. Check on the elderly and make sure pets and livestock
have plenty of water to drink. Do not leave children or pets in
automobiles for any length of time.
A heat advisory means that heat indices will enhance the stress
created by the current string of hot temperatures...which may lead
to heat related illnesses.
